Our restaurant can accommodate up to 90 people, while the dining room with a fireplace can accommodate up to 60 people. In summer we serve meals on the covered terrace overlooking the garden.
At our café bar you can enjoy delicious aperitifs or relax with an excellent coffee and cake.

The restaurant offers local Ticino and Italian specialties and has an extensive wine list. Throughout the year, Hotel il Castagno in Mugena offers unique gastronomic dishes, depending on the season.
In the summer, Il Castagno offers outdoor barbecues, and in the fall we serve local game including venison, and our famous saddle of roe deer, as well as the specialty of our kitchen.
Our pizzeria offers 15 different types of pizza, all baked in a wood-fired oven.
 Bar Cafeteria and Aperitifs
At our bar you can enjoy tasty aperitifs with friends or relax while sipping a good coffee accompanied by a slice of homemade cake.
